Folk-rock artist Ani DiFranco will bring her Spirit of Love Tour to the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on Friday, May 1st, 2026.

Grammy-writing songwriter Ani DiFranco and her band will play hits like “32 Flavors,” “Both Hands” and “Gravel” off her release Unprecedented Sh!t, as well as some of her newest songs. Plus get more from special guest, singer Valerie June will join her for this entertaining blend of folk, gospel and blues that creates complete magic on stage. She will also play some of her latest album Owls, Omens and Oracles.

Spirit of Love Tour

Catch critically acclaimed singer-songwriter Ani DiFranco and special guest Valerie June live on stage at Nashville’s legendary Ryman Auditorium on Friday, May 1st 2016.

The concert is part of Ani DiFranco’s sprawling North American Spirit of Love Tour, which kicks off in her home state of MS in Jackson on April 30th and swings through New Orleans, Pensacola, Gainesville and Savannah, as well as dozens of other locations across the US and Canada before winding down in Sonoma, CA on May 30th.

Passionate folk rock from the Independent Music Icon Ani DiFranco. She will be performing her full albums 32 Flavors, Both Hands, Little Plastic Castle, Shameless and Gravel in addition to Unprecedented Sh!t. As an independent musician, Ani DiFranco has been delivering original and innovative music for twenty-plus years. Her style blends folk rock, alternative rock, punk, funk, hip hop and jazz together into a unique and diverse sound. 

Ani DiFranco received a Grammy Award for Best Album Package for her 2000 release Evolve. She is also the recipient of a Woman of Courage Award from the National Organization for Women and was recently inducted into the Women Songwriters Hall of Fame. 

Valerie June

Valerie June is a Singer Songwriter and Multi Instrumentalist with a Moving take on roots music. Her sound blends folk, soul, gospel, blues, country, and bluegrass to create a truly unique and special live musical experience for her audiences. These songs include her hit singles: Workin' Woman Blues, Astral Plane, Call Me A Fool, You and I, and Somebody to Love. Valerie’s 2025 release Owls, Omens and Oracles follows in the vein of her other work exploring the cosmic roots of American music.

The Grammy Nominated artist for Best American Roots Song (Call Me A Fool) has been nominated for 3 Americana Music Honors and Awards including Producer of the Year and Album of the Year for her 2017 release “Cardo”. The famous Ryman Auditorium at 116 Rep. John Lewis Way North in downtown Nashville, Tennessee 37219. Known affectionately as the “Mother Church of Country Music”, and home of the first broadcast in the world - the “Grand Ole Opry”, this National Historic Landmark was once the 19th-century First Baptist Church of Nashville.

The venue has the friendly atmosphere of a music venue, with seating in the distinctive pews on the main floor and in the balcony. The Ryman has seating for 2,362, great sight lines and sound, comfortable seating throughout the auditorium and multiple bars serving snacks, drinks, beer, wine and cocktails. Parking Information

On the west side of The Ryman, you will find many private lots, street spaces and several valet locations. There are also two public garages within walking distance to The Ryman. The Library Garage is located directly across 5th Avenue from The Ryman and holds over 700 parking spaces. The Commerce Street Garage is two blocks away, located at the corner of 3rd Avenue and Commerce Street and also holds over 700 parking spaces. Ride-sharing services, such as Uber and Lyft, have designated drop-off locations near the main entrance of The Ryman.
