With lead vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Emily Haines and guitarist and backing vocalist James Shaw starting the group as a duo, they have established a strong foundation for bassist and backing vocalist Joshua Winstead plus drummer Joules Scott-Key to make Metric. The band is now part of Rolling Stone’s The 50 Greatest Canadian Artists of All Time and has won multiple Juno Awards in recognition of their superb music legacy. As they share their tenth studio album, Romanticize the Dive, they strongly welcome a new era with their longtime listeners!
