American Hard Rock band from Chicago, Illinois, formed in 1972. They combined guitar-driven hard rock with acoustic guitar, synthesizers, and anthemic songs and dramatic presentation. They became the first act in rock history to achieve four consecutive multi-platinum albums with The Grand Illusion (1977), Pieces of Eight (1978), Cornerstone (1979), and Paradise Theatre (1981). They have sold over 54 million records worldwide and tour on average over 100 dates per year since 1999.

The Mother Church of Country Music The historic Ryman Auditorium, a stunning example of neo-Gothic architecture, was the home of the Grand Ole Opry from 1943 to 1974. Today, the Ryman welcomes all kinds of concerts and events in its unique space. With its hand carved wooden pews that cover both the main floor and balcony seating areas, the Ryman Auditorium seats 2,362 people and offers a variety of seating options. Parking is not available on the premises of the Ryman Auditorium. However, there are several public parking garages and lots located throughout downtown Nashville surrounding the historic Ryman.
