His fourth studio album, Southeastern, is considered his commercial mainstream breakthrough, and some of his most notable hits include Cover Me Up, Middle of the Morning, and Highwomen. Isbell’s band, the 400 Unit, has allowed him to grow his discography and produce more favorably reviewed works, including the albums The Nashville Sound, Reunion, and Georgia Blue.
