The 400 Unit released a new album called "Weathervanes" in 2023. The album features songs such as "Death Wish" and "Cast Iron Skillet" as well as many more songs. In addition to songs from the new album, he will also be playing songs from his previous albums such as "Reunions" and "The Nashville Sound". As the guitarist for the Drive-By Truckers, he toured with them for many years before embarking on a solo career where he received critical acclaim for his songwriting. His songwriting is able to tell stories that are relatable to everyone but are very personal to himself and how he feels like he is exposing himself. Critics have praised Isbell's songwriting abilities, awarding him four Grammy Awards, including Best Americana Album and Best American Roots Song for "If We Were Vampires".
