Celebrate the Christmas season with Amy Grant and Vince Gill at the Ryman Auditorium in one of Nashville's annual events. Amy Grant and Vince Gill will perform their annual Christmas shows at Nashville's legendary Ryman Auditorium this December.
12 nights are marked, with shows taking place on December 14th thru the 23rd. A 3pm matinee and 7:30pm evening performance will be performed on Sunday, December 20th, 2016. Held in this historical and premier music venue, it's a great place to spend a season of love and giving, especially with great music from Amy Grant & Vince Gill.
The Queen of Christian Pop - Amy Grant returns to perform her library of classic hits that's touched the hearts of fans for years, including "Baby Baby," "El Shaddai," "Angels," "Father's Eyes," and "The Next Time I Fall" among many others. Grant released a wonderful holiday collection in 2016 titled Tennessee Christmas which will be featured in this concert night.
The Christian music icon has released many new songs recently including "Trees We'll Never See" from 2023. Most recently in 2023, Grant released "Trees We'll Never See". Note: Amy Grant was the pioneering modern Christian artist to receive a number one song on secular charts and to perform at the Grammy Awards. The singer has received 6 Grammy's, 22+ Dove Awards. She was also the first Christian artist to receive a platinum album. All in all, the singer has sold over 30 million albums worldwide. Grant also has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and received Kennedy Center Honors in 2022.
Legendary country artist and virtuoso guitar player Vince Gill brings his unique energies and enderaing songs, plus his smooth tenor voice to this Holiday concert. Performing all of the traditional Christmas songs as well as original compositions, Gill will also take time to sing his many famous love songs including "I Still Believe in You," "The Next Big Thing," "One More Last Chance," "When I Call Your Name," and "Tryin' to Get Over You."
As a singer in the neotraditional country and bluegrass genres, he has recorded many classic songs. Some of his hits include "I Still Believe in You," "Do You Know You Are My Sunshine," "One More Last Chance," "When Love Walks In," "Don't Let Your Love Start Slippin' Away," "Go Down," "The House of Love," "Whenever You Come Around," "You And You Alone," "Tryin' to Get Over You," "If Love Had to Have a Color,"
The country artist is also the only writer to be awarded the CMA Song of the Year four times. As a master instrumentalist, Gill has performed with folks such as Dolly Parton and The Eagles, and in 2025 was awarded the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award.
The Ryman has been hailed as a 'church' for country music - being the former home of the Grand Ole Opry. Known as "Music's Most famous Stage" and recognized by the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as a landmark, the Ryman's acoustics are as special as the venue's history. The pews of the Ryman provide an up close and personal view of the performer on stage.
