In an interview with the Rolling Stone for their third year of performing a residency at the Ryman Auditorium, Jason Isbell has shared why he and his backing band, the 400 Unit, favor the well-known venue for their shows. He shares, “There’s no rock-star b***s*** at the Ryman… There’s no barricade, there’s no security between me and the people listening to me.” It seems like this quality of the venue and the continuous support from their growing fanbase has inspired the widely acclaimed singer-songwriter to continue their Ryman residency 12 years later, and they’re more than ready to conquer October with concerts that their fans will remember forever!
